Emidio A Taipina, 90, of Palm Coast, passed away September 28, 2026 with his loving family at his side. Born in Febres, Portugal, he was the son of Manuel and Rosa Taipina. He married his beloved wife Licinia (Conceicao) in January of 1960.

Emidio owned and operated his own food truck for many years, and in his spare time he enjoyed traveling, and spending time with his family. They shared many memories and experiences, beach bonfires, martial arts, and watching soccer (Força Benfica Allez!).

Above all, Emidio enjoyed working the land. Landscaping, farming, and planting were all passions of his. He was a “firecracker,” and a man of determination; always meeting the goals he set for himself with confidence. His proudest accomplishment was his family, and he loved sharing many stories of his travels with all of them. He was truly full of life.

Besides his wife, Licinia, Emidio is survived by their two children, Aurea Santos and Dennis Taipina, all of Palm Coast; grandchildren David Dos Santos of Palm Coast, Phillipe Dos Santos, Sofia Taipina and Daniel Taipina all of New Jersey and his son in law Jorge Santos of Palm Coast, as well as two siblings, Estelina Taipina of Portugal, and Carlos Taipina of France.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 11 AM in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Pkwy, Palm Coast, FL, followed by interment. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Lotus Funeral Services, 460 Palm Coast Pkwy, Ste 3, Palm Coast.
